Rochester Man Arrested in NYC on Weapon Charges

NEW YORK CITY — A Rochester man faces several weapons charges in New York City after police there pulled him over for using his cell phone while driving.

Daniel Figueroa, 45, of Marne Street is charged with ten counts of criminal possession of a weapon, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving while using a mobile phone.

Police were taking Figueroa into custody over the weekend when they said he admitted to having three loaded guns on him, and another in the car. Police said they also found additional loaded ammunition clips and switchblade knives.

Figueroa is being held in New York City.
