Rochester Man Pleads Not Guilty to Deadly Aug. 2015 Shooting on Portland Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A Rochester man has pleaded not guilty after being charged with murder five months after a deadly shooting outside a Portland Avenue liquor store.

Darien McMillan, 22, is charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of Rashod Lewis.

Lewis was shot Aug. 24 outside Roma’s Liquor Store. Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 24.

McMillan is being held with no bail.
