The case of a Rochester City Court judge accused of driving drunk will be prosecuted by Ontario County District Attorney Michael Tantillo.

Judge Leticia Astacio was charged with driving while intoxicated February 13 after an 8 a.m. accident on Route 490 near Mt. Read Boulevard. She was allegedly on her way to court to preside over arraignments when the accident occurred. Monroe County DA Sandra Doorley said she asked for an out-of-county prosecutor to avoid possible conflicts.

Canandaigua City Court Judge Stephen Aronson will preside over the case, which is scheduled for Friday morning.
