Condoleezza Rice Has Had ‘Enough’ of Trump: He Should Not be President

Condoleezza Rice had some brutally honest words for anyone still supporting Donald Trump’s presidential hopes. In a statement on her Facebook page, the former Secretary of State said plainly that enough is enough and “Donald Trump should not be President.”

She continued, saying that “he should withdraw.” Rice, a Republican, wants someone better from her party as a presidential candidate: “As a Republican, I hope to support someone who has the dignity and stature to run for the highest office in the greatest democracy on earth.”

Rice, who is one of many former Bush administration officials to refuse support of Trump, also did not attend the Republican National Convention this year.

Her sentiments are fueled by the recent revelation that Donald Trump admitted and bragged about groping women, saying he grabbed them in the “p***y,” as well as the admission by television producer Chris Nee that there is video footage from “The Apprentice” of Trump saying the n-word.

This hits home particularly close for Condoleezza Rice, who was the Unites States’ first Black female Secretary of State. She is the second Black Secretary of State after Colin Powell, and the second female to hold the office after Madeleine Albright.
