ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester police are still looking for suspects in two homicides from over the weekend that happened less than 24 hours apart.

The man who was stabbed to death on West Main Street Sunday night is the same man who had been charged with murder. The charge was later dismissed by a judge.

Investigators say Sean Osuna, 26, died after he was stabbed to death in a fight Sunday night on West Main and King streets. It happened around 9 p.m. Sunday. Police say Osuna was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Another man, Ali Ali, 21, was also stabbed in the fight. He was was treated and later released from the hospital.

Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley confirmed Osuna was indicted for the May 2015 murder of Carlton McLaughlin Jr. in Rochester.

Prosecutors and police say Osuna and Demetrius Bordeaux shot and killed the 22-year-old on Ridgeway Avenue last year. But in a rare move, Doorley says Justice Judy Sinclair dismissed the charges against the two, citing insufficient evidence. But, she left the door open for the DA’s to re-present the case to another grand jury should prosecutors gather more evidence.

While they investigate Osuna’s death, police are also looking into who killed Aaron Bailey, 24, on Bay Street Saturday night. Bailey was pronounced dead at Rochester General Hospital after being shot at least once in the upper body. It happened outside a Mini Mart on Bay Street near Portland Avenue just before 10 p.m.

Police have not made any arrests and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
