ROCHESTER, N.Y. — More graphic testimony today in the trial of four people charged with the kidnapping and torture of two University of Rochester students.

They’re accused of holding two University of Rochester students against their will in a house on Harvest Street last December.

It’s believed to be a case of mistaken identity over a drug deal gone bad. Investigators say neither of the victims were involved in that transaction.

Today in court the second alleged victim testified. He said he was taken to the home on Harvest Street where he and his friend were attacked by four to five masked men.

He told jurors his captors were armed with a rifle, baseball bat and steel pipe. He testified he and his friend tried to escape.

During emotional testimony, the victim said his captors threatened to cut off his toes. He also testified the captors fired guns around he and his friend.

Lydell Strickland, David Alcarez-Ubiles, Ruth Lora and Inalia Rolldan are being tried on a number of charges including kidnapping, assault and weapons possession.
