Judge Astacio Admits to Violating Terms of DWI Conviction

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio will face an additional six months on her conditional discharge after admitting to violating its terms following a DWI conviction.

Wednesdya morning, a tearful Astacio admitted to failing alcohol screenings required to start her vehicle on two occasions in September.

The judge extended the conditional discharge by three months for each violation.

Astacio was arrested for drunk driving in February, following an accident on Route 490.

Terms of her sentencing order by the judge was to abstain from drinking alcoholic beverages.
