Guilty Plea From Man Who Caused Fatal Drunk Driving Crash in 2015

ROCHESTER, N.Y. —  A guilty plea from the man accused of driving drunk last summer and causing the crash that killed an elderly woman.

Terry Blue pleaded guilty to second degree manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter and aggravated DWI with a child passenger, also known as Leandra’s Law.

Sentencing is scheduled for February 7th.

The two car crash happened June 2nd on East Ridge Road near Boukhart Avenue.

Police say Blue was driving drunk on East Ridge Road in Irondequoit when he ran into another car driven by 87-year-old Beatrice Polizzi.

Polizzi later died at Rochester General Hospital.

Police said Blue had a 15-year-old and a 7-month-old in his car at the time of the crash.
