Trial Date Set for Rochester Man Accused in Fatal Radisson Hotel Shooting

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester man accused of killing a teen inside a downtown hotel will go on trial exactly one year from the date of the crime.

Luis Arroyo, 23, is charged with manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.

He’s accused of shooting 19-year old Brandon Spears on the tenth floor of the Radisson Hotel June 12th.

Police say Spears was involved in a fight when he was shot in the chest. A trial date was set Thursday morning for June 12th.

Arroyo is being held on $100,000 bail.
