CHILI, N.Y. — Several crews are currently at the scene of a fire at a Chili apartment complex.

Crews responded to the 2 alarm fire around 3 a.m. Wednesday at the Parklands of Chili luxury apartments on Hill Park Court.

Details are limited at this time, but firefighters say the area of Chili Avenue and Union Street was blocked off as crews worked to get the fire under control, but the roadway has since reopened.

Just hours before, fire reduced parts of a home to rubble a few miles down Chili Avenue.

At least four fire agencies, including the Chili Fire Department, which is across the street, were at the scene near Chestnut Drive around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

At one point all the crews were ordered out of the home for safety reasons.

The home was a total loss and is expected to be demolished sometime Wednesday.

No word yet on what sparked the flames.

The sheriff’s department is investigating.
