ROCHESTER N.Y. — Rochester Police say they recovered a body from the Genesee River Sunday that matches the description of missing 14-year-old Trevyan Rowe.

Police Chief Michael Ciminelli said Sunday night they cannot identify of the body at this time.

The Rochester Police Scuba Team had been searching the river throughout the day, and police put up a blue tarp along the river near Corn Hill later that afternoon.

Rowe was last seen leaving School No. 12 Thursday morning.

His family says they did not know he was missing until he did not get off the bus with his sister later that afternoon.

They say Rowe is autistic and may have been upset when he walked away after getting off the bus Thursday morning.

Throughout the past several days, search parties filled with hundreds of volunteers have been searching the areas in and around Mount Hope Cemetery and Highland Park.
