RPD investigating after 16-year-old is killed in a motorcycle crash

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — According to police, a 16-year-old operating a motorcycle died after crashing into a parked car on Randolph Street Wednesday evening.

The victim was was a student at Joseph Wilson Magnet High School. In a social media post, school officials say 16-year old Ricardo Ubinas was killed in the accident.

School officials say they’ve spoken with Ricardo’s family and offered them support. The message said they also have counselors for students and staff.

Rochester Police say Ubinas was riding on Randolph Street, off of Portland Avenue when he struck a parked car around 6 p.m.
