A man is facing felony charges following a short police chase in Rochester Friday night.

Rochester police and State troopers say they tried to stop a stolen vehicle on the Bausch Street bridge, but the driver pulled a u-turn and hit a State Police and civilian vehicle.

Police say the driver, who has not been identified, continued down Lyell Avenue and then rear-ended another car on Saratoga Avenue. That’s when the driver got out and ran, according to officers.

The suspect was eventually arrested and taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

No one else was hurt.
